Why SUP Fusion Fitness?
SUP Fusion Fitness incorporates Pilates, Yoga, Barre, and Stretching as well as lots paddling on the Stand Up Paddle board. This unique workout combines mindfulness, focus, balance, breath control, and presence. The consequences of losing balance and focus is a refreshing splash in the water! As a bonus when you work out on your floating yoga mat you get to experience the beauty and energy of the ocean. Just as every paddle out on the water is unique, every workout session will be too as the water conditions, and winds are constantly changing. You can't help but develop a greater sense of mindfulness when you workout on your board as you have to pay extra attention to every breath, body movement and placement of a foot, hand, arm or leg in order to keep balance on your board.
SUP Fusion Fitness is great for both beginning and advanced levels. For beginners the poses and movements are less complex, for advanced the dynamic nature of the board movement adds a challenging new element to the poses. I've combined Yoga, Barre, and Pilates poses and movements into my paddle board workouts and I like to customize the level of difficulty to match the skill level of each student to provide everyone with a unique, fun and challenging yoga experience.
